Located in a national park, this peaceful Thai resort is surrounded by wide green fields and greenery, offering you a tranquil world filled with environmentally friendly luxury.

Layana Resort & Spa stands on Koh Lanta Yai Island, which is set within Mu Koh Lanta National Park, a home to tropical rainforests and rich marine life. About 2 hours’ from Krabi Airport by means of transport provided by the resort, Layana Resort is situated by the sea and enjoys a stunning, pristine 3-kilometre white sandy beach.

Filled with simple elegance, Layana Resort & Spa is designed with Thai architecture and contemporary furnishings. Many parts of the resort enjoy alfresco settings, giving you a cool and natural feel. Besides the beautiful landscaped pool and fully-equipped gym, the resort also offers activities like wine tasting and elephant trekking.

If you prefer a quiet moment, the Library has a quiet corner filled with publications, games and DVDs for loan. For your convenience, free wireless internet is provided throughout the hotel. The resort’s restaurant and bar are opened throughout the day to offer you diverse cuisines and a fine selection of beverages.

Transfer option have to be booked directly with the resort and are not included in the room rates.

Upon arrival at Krabi Airport, guests are welcomed by a representative of Layana Resort & Spa before being brought to the resort.

From November to April, the transfer service usually consists of the following:
- an hour’s drive in an air-conditioned minivan from Krabi Airport to Baan Hua Hin pier
- 20 minute’s scenic ride on one of Layana Resort’s private speedboats (subjected to weather and wave conditions and depending on guest’s choice)

From May to October, the resort operates round-trip transfers using a minivan due to sea conditions. A one-way transfer usually takes at least 2 hours but can take even longer sometimes.

Please note:
Due to safety reasons, the resort does not operate any boats from 18:00 to 06:00 throughout the year. If you arrive at Krabi Airport after 17:00, you can still be brought to Layana Resort with the local ferries operating until 22:00.

All rooms are furnished with natural materials like silk and hardwood, creating a traditional Thai atmosphere. The luxurious rooms come with a king-sized bed or twin beds covered with goose down duvets, while a large daybed serves as a sitting area and a third bed when necessary.
